You don’t need a name for it
Most people don’t start therapy with a diagnosis. They start with something that has been hard for a while. If one of these sounds familiar, that is reason enough to reach out.
-
Your mind won’t slow down, especially at night.
We look at what keeps the worry running and practice ways to step out of the loop, one piece at a time.
-
You hold everything together for everyone else, and there’s not much left for you.
We make room for what you need, and look at which pieces can be shared, changed, or set down.
-
Life changed fast, and you’re still catching up.
A move, a breakup, a new job, a loss. We sort out what changed, what didn’t, and what you want to build from here.
-
Things you used to enjoy don’t feel the same lately.
We pay attention to when it started and what shifted, and try small, doable steps to reconnect with what matters to you.
-
You keep ending up in the same argument with the same people.
We look at the pattern from your side of it: what sets it off, what you need, and how you might respond differently.
-
You live between two languages, two cultures, and two sets of expectations.
Talk about it in English, Spanish, or both, without having to translate yourself first.
-
You can’t say exactly what’s wrong. You just know something is.
That is a fine place to start. The first sessions are for figuring it out together.
In clinical terms, adults see Roselia for anxiety, stress, low mood, life transitions, relationship strain, and much more. If you’re not sure whether what you’re dealing with fits, ask in the free consultation.
How therapy with Roselia works
Sessions draw on three approaches.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
Noticing how thoughts, feelings, and actions feed each other, and practicing tools to change patterns.

Attention on what already works, and on your next small step.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your health care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have certain types of health care coverage or who are not using certain types of health care coverage an estimate of their bill for health care items and services before those items or services are provided.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any health care items or services upon request or when scheduling such items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- If you schedule a health care item or service at least 3 business days in advance, make sure your health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 1 business day after scheduling. If you schedule a health care item or service at least 10 business days in advance, make sure your health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after scheduling. You can also ask any health care provider or facility for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you do, make sure the health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after you ask.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more for any provider or facility than your Good Faith Estimate from that provider or facility, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate and the bill.

Common questions
Do you take insurance?
Roselia is in network with Aetna and Optum. What you pay depends on your plan.
For other plans, she can give you a superbill: a detailed receipt you can send to your insurance company to ask about out-of-network reimbursement. Whether your plan reimburses, and how much, is up to the plan.
Can I have sessions by video?
Yes. Video sessions are available anywhere in California. You need to be located in California during each session.
Do you see couples, families, or teens?
No. Therapy here is for individual adults, 18 and older.
What happens in the free consultation?
It’s a 15-minute video call, in English or Spanish. You can share a little about what’s going on, ask about how sessions work, fees, or scheduling, and get a sense of whether working with Roselia feels like a fit. There’s no commitment.
Is what I say in therapy confidential?
Yes, with some exceptions required by law, such as when someone’s safety is at serious risk, or when a child, elder, or dependent adult may be experiencing abuse. Roselia explains these exceptions before you start.
What if I need help right now?
Please don’t wait for a consultation. Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available in Spanish), or call 911 if you are in immediate danger.
